You mean I'm not crazy stupid or lazy.  good add read

I just read "The Disorganized Mind" by Nancy A. Ratey and it was a very good read.  I would like to read "What Does Everyone Else Know That I Don't'  because that's how I feel 99% of the time. I just signed up to this site and I'm glad that I found it.

I really found What does everyone else know that I don't to be very interesting & informative-I'll Have to check out The Disorganized Mind out, Sounds intriguing

The Disorganized Mind by Nancy Ratey (thank you, Nancy!) was a new turning point in my intensifying struggle with ADD.  I was so moved and affected by Nancy's personal sharing that I wrote her a letter thanking her for such an inspirational and encouraging read.

As I told Nancy in that letter, there have only been two times in my life that I have actually been brought to tears in relation to my ADD.  Ned Hallowell's appearance on the (now defunct) "Jane Pauly Show" was the first and reading Nancy's book was the second.

I was so inspired and motivated by Nancy's compassion and empathy that I joined CHADD and attended the National CHADD Conference in Orlando in November 2011, just two months after finding her book.  I am so encouraged by all the resources and the sincerely caring group of people that I have since found so interested in helping others to live a better life.

Thanks to Tara, too, for all the amazing offerings she brings to the table.

Living with Adult ADHD by Russell Barkley. I am actually in my first quarter of my freshman year in college and Monday the 14th of May I am presenting a paper titled Living With ADHD, in which I did a lot of research and this was one of the books I referenced. My main part of my topic was trying to find out if it was hereditary, and I found that it is. I also find that I have combined Impulsivity and Inattentive ADHD. In my research I found this site, and have not had a lot of chances to log on and see what is happening here. With my disorder, my college classes are kind of overwhelming right now. But, I plan on visiting the siote more regularly once things settle down.
