Hey if you are reading this than you will appreciate what i'm about to say.. I'm the grandmother of two children with ADHD they are as differant as night and day.. I'm 32 years old and I started thinking I had ADD about two years ago. Most of my life I've been "spacey" and unable to focus on anything for very long. When I was 14 I started writing and loved it. I wrote in journals, I wrote fiction, poetry, short stories, novellas, plays - you get the idea. Shell's Story

Hi. My name is Shell, I'm 24, and I'm just now realizing that I have AD/HD.



I've seen lots of online resources about people diagnosed AD/HD that are instead, or also, gifted. But what happens to a child identified as gifted, whose AD/HD goes unaddressed? IMHO, you get a girl like me. I was IQ tested at age 7 due to intelligent teachers and active parents who saw my boredom and thought first of ability instead of impairment.
